420. never allow walls to form – if they form, they are easy to keep. And keeping walls is as deadly as building them
421. if something bothers you, tell the person instead of putting up a wall
422. usually the person didn’t do it on purpose – they like you, remember? So don’t always think the worst… besides that never gets you too far. Usually just feeling like crap and having a lot of walls
423. she didn’t try to hurt you, don’t hold it against her – and if she did try to (which she didn’t), don’t  hold it against her
424. everyone screws up – who are you to withhold grace from someone who Christ has already given it to.
425. some people care enough to break your walls down, they just don’t know you want them to break them down, or they don’t know how to – don’t hold that against them either. Give them the benefit of the doubt, even though it’s against your instincts.
426. never add rules that you aren’t prepared to live by
427. don’t get a major in athletic training if it’s not what you want to do – so good thing you are thrilled about it
428. read as many books as you can – books that teach you about God, as well as children’s books
429. never lose the desire for God to teach you
430. don’t be hating the trials – they make you who you are – be thankful for them
431. don’t look where you are at right now and try to define your life… we go through sucky periods, that doesn’t mean our life is sucky. It just means we’re going through a sucky period
432. don’t let the past define you
433. forget about him, he isn’t worth your time or your emotional state of being
434. men are supposed to love you, not hurt you – don’t give up on all guys for the mistakes of some – there are guys out there who love Jesus a lot and they shouldn’t suffer for those who don’t love Jesus so much
435. if you make up your mind to do something, hurry up and do it, if you wait you might talk yourself out of what you wanted in the first place
436. give credit where credit is due
437. art often
438. listen to new music and decide if it’s good or not – if it’s not, never listen to it again… if it’s good, listen to it often
439. try not to smell bad, it's impolite
440. tell your brother that you love him, even if it’s kind of awkward, i’m sure he’ll appreciate it
441. if it’s December, bring a coat. No questions asked. You might think it’s warm out, but it’s not. Bring a coat.
442. write more life rules
